Monaco joins in the fight against counterfeit medicines

According the the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA), internationally, one medicine in ten is counterfeit. A substantial international black market in pharmaceuticals has developed because of the high profits available from the sale of counterfeit medicines. The challenge of the Principality’s extension into the Sea takes shape

S.A.S Prince Albert II of Monaco took his decision, the new urbanism sea’s extension in the Principality has been adopted today. This is a new great challenge for the Prince and a new important territorial transformation for Monaco. This new extension project has been adopted in order to remedy the lack of place. Pollution alert in Alpes-Maritimes but not in Monaco

The thresold of pollution reached an impressive degree in the Alpes-Maritimes. Nevertheless it seems not to be so high in the Principality of Monaco. Summer entertainment at the Port of Monaco

One of the biggest tourism attraction in the Principality, in Summer, is the Activity Parc just installed at the Famous Port Herculum of Monaco. This park will remain here for 2 months and will enjoy children and parents. Mr. Fred Flanet is the promoter of this parc since 1998 with his wife and an associate. S.A.S. Princess Stéphanie brings her fight against AIDS to New York

Aide et Développement Sans Frontière (“ADSF”) takes action

Hobbs-Melville - the final verdict

To summarize the facts briefly, William Fogwell, the mastermind behind Hobbs-Melville, misappropriated about € 175 millions from approximately 450 investors from all over the world. The “Handiplage” site at Larvotto improves its structures

In Monaco, handicapped persons or people with limited mobility have the possibility to enjoy their stay in Monaco on the Larvotto beach. The name of the said beach is “Handiplage” and was created on 2000 and it is open freely to residents or all tourists. This year the Monegasque Government became the associate of the Club Service Soroptimist, which originally set up the handiplage site.  (more…)

A new step for the commission in charge of the French-Monegasque border cooperation

The commission in charge of the local questions between Monaco and France had a meeting on July 13, 2006. Established by the Commission of Monegasque-French cooperation on January 31, 2005 the said commission is presided by Mr. Jean-Paul Proust, Estate Ministry of Monaco assisted by Mr. Serge Telle, French Ambassador in Monaco and Mr. Pierre Breuil, the Prefet of the Alpes Maritimes.
