A Monegasque Theatre evening at the Castel Gandolfo
On September 26, the Salle Garnier of Monaco will welcome the theatre troupe of Charles Peguy, for the last show entitled “The charity’s mystery of Jeanne d’Arc”. A few days ago this show was showed at Castel Gandolfo, the Popes’ Summer residence located not far from Rome. The theatre show was produced by the “Espace Culturel” of Monaco, Fra Angelico and played in the jardens of the Pontiff Palace. Indeed, it was an exceptionnal show especially because the current Pope, Benoit XVI attended it. Mr. Jean-Claude Michel, Ambassador and Represented the Saint Seat as well as a Monegasque delegation headed by His Eminence Bernard Barsi, attended as well the show. It is important to notice that this theatre show was in reality a present from the Monegasque Government and the diocese of Monaco to the Pope, Benoit XVI. At the end of the said show, which was really appreciated, the current Pope expressed his grateful thanks to the organization institution and the artists.
