The boulevard Jardin Exotique knows important repairs
In Monaco, the company SMEAUX, the water firm of the Principality, started important road repairs on the Jardin Exotique boulevard. These repairs started this past Monday and will last around four weeks. Consequently, this already causes traffic troubles du to the cut of the street. These important repairs were provoked in the course of August ; indeed, the water department of Monaco intervened in urgency to repair a broken water pipe, but rapidly it was concluded that there is no way to repair it, du to the decrepitude, but only to replace it completely. Mr. Manuel Nardi, the General Director of SMEAUX, announced already the way the repairs will be executed; the cars traffic will be possible only on one pavement with an alternate circulation, parking cars are nearby available, the bus line number 2 will not be affected and regarding pedestrians, the pavement will be even enlarged. The water will be somethimes cut off, the access to the Parc Princess Antoinette, on the Jardin Exotique site will be for the moment closed. These troubles cannot be avoided but the necessity to repair the discovered damages is a priority in order to avoid much more important damages. Fortunately, they will take end at the beginning of October.
