Start of the new session for the Government of Monaco
The Ministry of the Estate, SEM Jean-Paul Proust organized, this month of September, a press conference on his residency supported by his Government. The purpose of this conference was to sum up the actions adopted during the whole year and to put them into concrete form. This regards of course questions such as finance, economy, equipment, environment, urbanism, education, health, social matters, external relationship…. Mr. Paul Masseron, a minister, added that the law project concerning the vote by proxy will be shortly adopted and put into practice with the next local elections of 2007. Another important point was developped, the fight against tabacco. To conclude, the budget question was of course raised and SEM Jean-Paul Proust announced that 2007 will be a difficult year in means of budget ; indeed, a large part will be destined to the National Council. This major question will be again mentioned at the next Government’s press conference.
