No Eurovision for Monaco
After three years of dubious results the Principality opts out. Three years after returning to the annual Eurovision song contest, the Principality of Monaco has decided not to enter Eurovision 2007. Much had rested on last year’s entrant, the French singer Séverine Ferrer performing “Coco dance”, but she didn’t even make it to the semi-finals. In 2005, Lise Darly came 24th in the semi-final and the 2004 entrant did not fare well either. Monaco had not participated since 1980.
