This weekend from January 12 to 14, the Travel Market rolls out a magic carpet of up-market travel ideas onto the 4,500sqm surface area of the Grimaldi Forum’s Espace Ravel. Exhibitors’ stands, embellished to reflect the fascination of their destinations, are offering dream trips to visitors in pursuit of pampered vacations in spas, off-beat entertainment, no-limits challenges or exotic new frontiers. 
The Monte-Carlo Travel Market is the brainchild of Elyse Danino and Steve Sasportas who turned an original concept into a viable event in 2005. Public enthusiasm for the venture is reflected in the 15,000 visitors the three-day luxury mart attracted in 2006. The 2007 exhibition, open from 10am to 7pm, welcomes the general public as well as industry professionals.
