A move to modernize the Monegasque Civil Service
The image of the Public Services is good” H.E. Jean-Paul Proust stated on Wednesday 11th April in front of close to a thousand state and public sector employees gathered at the Grimaldi Forum, on the occasion of the Civil Service Forum.
The gist of the address given by the Principality’s Minister of State, after announcing the results of a new survey, carried out by the Company Arsh Opinion and completed by 500 people from the general public, on 12th and 13th March this year, was that the public services image is good, but that it could be even better. ‘Our Civil Service has a duty to be exemplary, and it should be said in the Principality that it is better than elsewhere’ was the message given by the Minister of State to the Principality’s state employees. The Head of the Monaco Government, having been in consultation with its members since September 2006, has specified planned priorities and measures to be achieved, in order to modernise the Public Services.
